Kiddo Update (Fallon is four months old now)!!!!
Well it's official! Fallon is four months old now!!! Man how the time flies! I can't believe its already been four months since she came out of my belly and into this world! She is doing great!! Weighing 15 pds 8 ozs and growing like a weed at 24 inches long! She is also making loads of screeches and grunts and new noises. It's amazing fun having two kids!! Sully loves her to pieces and she loves him! I think they are both very anxious for the day they can actually play together. Fallon has started rolling! Nothing continuous yet but she's got the back to front front to back thing down!! She also grabbed a rattle for the first time this month! She is really starting to get interested in her toys and her brother's toys...I can already see the fights over toys that are gonna happen lol!!! She loves her exersaucer. It's fun for her because she can sit up right and look around and Sully will bring his cars over and run them around her and all the while she can sit and watch him, or I will sit her in front of the tv and they will watch cartoons together while she's in it. What a wonderful invention that exersaucer!!! Hmmm what else? We had some cereal this month, not sure if she loves it or hates it but so far it's going alright. The last thing that I think is the cutest for her is my parents got her a sock monkey for Christmas and we keep it in her playpen and at night she pulls it toward her and sits and talks to it. It is the cutest thing ever!!! I will even wake up in the morning to her going crazy with noises all because she is chatting away with her little crib friend! I love it!!! Not much else to report on the kid front really. Sully has eczema which is a new and interesting thing we are dealing with...he also has this speech thing but I will post about that some other time. Stay warm everyone!!!
The Imagination of a Child!!!
So I wanted to share this amazing moment I had with Sully today.
I will first start by saying Ryan got this little remote control toy helicopter for Christmas that Sully has been dieing to get his hands on but has yet to do because it will break and is a little too complicated for him. So when it comes to the actual toy Sully has settled for watching daddy play with it and he helps by picking it up and setting it up right so that Ry can fly off again after a crash landing.
Anyway my moment of awe today came when Sully got out his legos to play, typical thing for him to do during the day, dump them all on my floor, make a mess, play a little, and then move on. Well today was a little different, Sully built him and I remotes out of his legos. I was a little lost a first then realized what he was doing after a minute of watching. He was making a buzzing noise and staring up at the ceiling, all the while playing with his "remote." He was pretending he was flying a plane just like daddy's! I was amazed it was soo adorable. His plane crashed and he went and very carefully set it up right and went right on playing. I started to play with him and at one point my plane "crashed" so Sully very gently picked it up and went to the dining room table and proceeded to "fix" my broken plane. Once done he brought it back and proclaimed that it was, "Fixed!!!" so I could continue my playing. Once again sending me into amazement at watching him. Then our next hurdle came when he "lost" his plane lol. This upset him very much so he got on his cell phone (also pretend) and called his dad. He dialed -beep-beep-beep and called and talked to his dad for all of a minute so upset at his loss. Then at the end of the "call" he said, "Ok Dad!" Very happy about something then he went behind his sister's exersaucer and "found" the plane. "I found it," he exclaimed! I couldn't believe it.
We continued our playing for a good thirty minutes more before he was bored of it but it just set me in awe and shock. He has never shown that much imagination before and it was just so neat to see. You hear about a child's mind and how fascinating it is and even though at one point you had that same imagination its so hard to believe, until you get to watch your own child and their imagination. So pure, and innocent, and amazing. I loved every minute of it and it just makes me that much happier and thankful for my kids. So the next time your child has an awesome moment cherish it and love every minute of it because they won't stay that way forever, and someday you will have to be the one to remind them f that amazing imagination they once had.

A new year, some new goals, and a new attitude!!!
Well first of all HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Welcome to another year everyone! I personally am rooting for a wonderful 2009, last year was such a trying year, lots of stuff happened, some good and some bad, guess that's just how the cookie crumbles. Anyway, I am starting off the year with a new outlook and attitude towards life and friends, and rooting for some new goals...not weight gain or quitting smoking (made that happen last year YEAH!) but some other healthy ways of living. So here for your viewing pleasure are my 2000 and 9 resolutions!!!
Number One
Eating healthier my entire family!!!! Eating out less and staying in to cook good healthy food, this one is gonna be rough for my boys.
Number Two
Being greener!!!-We are gonna start recycling and using green products and do our best over the next year to appreciate our earth a little more. I feel this one should be easy as long as we develop the right system.
Number Three
I want to help charity. Donate, offer my help in some shelters, instead of throwing away old toys or clothes giving them to the salvation army, that sort of thing. I feel this one will be good for me and my self-esteem, I have so much and just want to give back a little.
Number Four
Save Money!!! So easy to say, so hard to do.
Number Five
Last but not least, I am making it a goal this year to spend at least one weekend all alone with my hubby. It's been two years since we had a night alone and I think at least one weekend is in order.
Anyway wish me luck!!! If any of you made new resolutions I wish you the best of luck with your goals!!! Also if you have any advice for me about any of my goals and how to make them easier on me please let me know I would love to hear your suggestions!!!
Peace, Love, and Chicken Grease!!!! (Yeah I am feeling a bit silly tonight!)
