Fine!

Yesterday was a fairly boring day. We hung out with Courtney before she went to work. Watched some TV, played with some toys, I walked in to find Fallon awake from a nap and standing in her crib, time to raise the rail so she doesn't fall out, god she's getting big fast. Ry came home from work, hate his full Saturdays they make it feel like the weekend never really comes that week, we watched more TV, he played a little PlayStation, Sully went to sleep at 7:30, he slept a full twelve hours guess he was exhausted, Fallon was cranky most of yesterday so that was no fun. Really not much more to report. Since the kids went to bed early we got to cuddle up in bed and watch a movie. So nice we never get to do that! I awoke this morning to a funny conversation between Sully and Ryan. Sully was asking Ry if they were gonna play rock it (his way of saying guitar hero) Ry said no so Sully continued asking if we were going to Target, Wal mart, or the zoo today Ry said no to all of these things so Sully said Fine! got a very mad look on his face and stormed off so funny!

Friday

Friday, Friday, Friday! My friend Sara came over for a visit. Sully drove the poor girl insane! They play ghost and he never lets her quit and she is too nice to tell him no. On this night we watched Dane Cook's ISolate INcident special that we recorded off of comedy central. Had hamburgers for dinner and then went to bed. Nothing really special at all.

Saturday

On Saturday we got a visit from Ry's mom. The kids and I spent the day playing and watching TV before she got here. While we were waiting Fallon decided she should do a new baby trick! She crawled over to the couch wanting my attention and because I wasn't giving it to her she used the couch as a prop and stood up!!! So cool to see her stand up all by herself but scary because she is getting way to big way to fast!!! After that Grandma Jeanette stopped by to change her clothes before heading back out to a wedding she had to go to. Once she left the kids and I continued our playing and TV watching until Ry got home. Once he got home Sully and I headed out to run some errands. We got home from our errands to find daddy playing his PS3 and we spent the rest of our night watching that and playing then we were all off to bed

Sunday

Got up early to a Fallon who had wet her bed and was ticked off because she was wet. Put her in the tub got done with that, folded laundry, and then the other people in my home decided they should start waking up. I started a batch of muffins and realized I had forgotten a crucial ingredient for my special eggs (cheese) so I put Ryan to work cooking bacon while I ran to the store. Got home from the store finished cooking breakfast. Ate. Headed to meet up with my sis in law, her hubby, and kiddos for a trip to our Manhattan Zoo. We saw some peacocks doing some crazy stuff and got rained on but still had fun hanging with family. After the zoo we ran a few errands then came home and chilled the rest of the night. Gave Fallon her first really solid food of crackers she loves them and makes a huge mess with them but it's all fun! Also bought Fallon the cutest pair of shorts on this day (look for them in the pics)!

Monday

Memorial Day! Ry and I went and saw a movie, grandpa watched the munchkins, we abandoned grocery shopping to play with our kids, watched the season premiere of one of my fave TV shows, oh and Sully decided picking Fallon up looked like fun EEK! After that we went to bed.

Tuesday

Woke up way to early wanted to go back to bed, hubby told me one of the best things he has ever told me before he headed off to work, Bridget and Austin came over to play! The boys had a great time and the grown ups had some great conversation. Ry came home we had dinner then we went to bed.

Wednesday

Wake up to a text from Bridget telling me that Austin was dieing to come over! So I drug myself out of bed and started cleaning my house before running errands with Sara. Got home from running errands and waited on Bridget and Austin to get here we had another great day of playing and conversation. They left Ry came home and we had a very yummy dinner with Sara. After Sara left we all went to bed.

Thursday

Another wake up letting me Austin was begging to come play with Sully. This week really turned into a week of play dates but oh so fun! We played with blocks ate lunch had fun and when A and B left we decided that we would go to the pool tomorrow! Ry got home told him about the pool date made meatloaf for dinner, watched some of the shows on our overly stocked DVR and then headed to bed!

Friday

Woke up this morning excited to be heading to the pool for the first time of the season! Picked up the house a little, got the kids ready to go, then B and A showed up so we headed to target to buy Sully some new swimming trunks. Went and changed into our swimming clothes and headed for the pool. Had loads of fun swimming. Fallon's first time at the pool she was too cute she just sat and played and stuck her feet in the water a few times. No big pool stuff for her yet because we want to wait for Daddy to be there for that first. After swimming we went to sonic for a snack, from sonic to home, we had leftovers and frozen pizza for dinner because we are all exhausted. Sully has a new favorite movie and we have watched it five times today UGH! Now I am writing this post and the boys are playing the PlayStation. About to be done here and head to bed!

The Teething Monster!!!

The teething monster story isn't as great as Hurricane Sully but I shall tell it anyway!!! As you all know Fallon is teething! EEK!!!!! Sometimes she is my normal happy girl and sometimes she is, "The Teething Monster." Her moods change so quick it's hard to determine what she is gonna be from one minute to the next! So I was taking some pictures last night as her ever changing moods went from happy to pissed. P.S. the pics were taken one right after the next with maybe a minute or two in between.

Hurricane Sully!!!

So yesterday was one of those days that I clean, clean, cleaned and the end result was wonderful until Hurricane Sully swirled through leaving loads of destruction in his path. The main point of impact was my son's bedroom. We all have to remember as we look at these next pics that the bedroom was fully cleaned and vacuumed just minutes before the hurricane hit. Brace yourselves folks these next pics are so bad they will take you breath away. This is what happens when you leave your three year old alone while you go take a quick five minute shower. Well, I better say ten gotta add in getting dressed time. OK here goes:

Here is what it looked like after the cleaning crews came through and got all the mess cleared away. It took three dump trucks and several man hours but we got the mess from Hurricane Sully all taken care of thank goodness!!! Here is the end result:

Hump Day!!!

Yesterday was another fairly uneventful day at our house. I spent the day hanging with the kids. Fallon was a lot cranky yesterday thanks to those evil teeth she has coming in. Sully spent most of his day wanting to be out on the balcony watching the birds through his binoculars. It was so funny!! He kept telling me, "Mom, I got get to work!" Like bird watching is his job! I laughed so so hard at my silly son yesterday! He and I actually watched the second Underworld movie and he kept telling me, "Mom we have go! We have to run! Monsters get us, we got get out of here!" His words exactly. So I had to explain they were just in the TV and they couldn't get us and he seemed content with that and wasn't as scared anymore. Then when my hubby got home we had some breakfast burritos for dinner while we watched the awesome American Idol finale! YAY Kris Allen won!! He was the guy we were rooting for so that was exciting! Also got to see miss Fallon pass out on daddy's lap which is always an adorable thing to see. After that I watched an animal planet special on hippos! Such fascinating animals. It was cute because Sully knew what they were and kept informing me they were hippos and he also schooled me on crocodiles when they came onto the show as well. After the special we put the munchkins to bed, my hubby went to bed right after that but I stayed up and talked with my friend Bridget before heading to bed and passing out myself. I fun day with the family gotta love those days!!!

Friday

Friday was fairly boring really. It was payday YAY! Since it was payday I spend my day running around paying bills and picking up a few odds and ends. Came home Friday night had dinner and my boys spent the evening playing the new game they had gotten at the store while we were out. That was our Friday in a nutshell.

Saturday

Well Saturday was a busy day for us! I got up and got all my stuff ready and headed out the door to go get my recycling done. Got to the recycling center and it was packed! I had to park across the street leaving me to run back and forth to get my recycling out of the car not too big a deal. After I got done recycling I headed home and hung out with the munchkins for a few before Ry got home. After he got home we decided it was far too pretty a day out to waste so we packed everyone up even Aunt Courtney and headed to the Topeka Zoo. Got to the zoo around three to find out a very disappointing piece of info. They put the animal that we were so anxious to see (the elephants) away at three that day. Such a bummer. We did get to see lots of fun animals that day and some cool stuff. Sully was hilarious!!! He wanted to get in with some animals and he asked every single one how they were doing and what they were up to! That was my fave part! We started off with the lions, as you will see in the pics that was fun!!! The female lions had a tiff over the male and the female that won came right up to the glass on the inside of this "dark cave" (as Sully called it) and laid down and watched us. She was very interested in Aunt Courtney who had been holding miss Fallon so not sure what that was about but yeah she didn't take her eyes off them. After that we got to watch two giraffes one chasing after the other. We went into this little rain forest thing they have I did NOT like that. They had iguanas and mice and porcupines and bats and all kinds of stuff running around. The mice did me in I have a terrible fear of mice for some reason lol but then I saw the bats and bolted! Sully and everyone else loved it. Crazy people those bats are huge!!!! After the rain forest we headed over to see the goats!!! Sully got to feed them and he loved it!!! He was handing out the food piece by piece so he didn't miss any goat, it was adorable and one of the cutest things ever!!! Once we were out of goat feeding money we checked out the rest of the zoo and then headed across the street from the zoo the check out a very neat park they have there where Sully played and had a blast. Aunt Courtney did too as you will see in some pics. After we were exhausted from all that we grabbed some food and headed home. We got home and watched this special on the national geographic channel about a man and his grizzly bear! Very cool special I totally recommend watching it. After that everyone was pretty much ready to pass out so Ry and the kiddos headed to bed while Aunt Courtney and I stayed up and ended up playing cards until 4:30am with my wonderful friend Bridget. It was a long day but a fun one and I was exhausted when I finally rolled into bed around five a.m.

Sunday

Well I got to sleep in a little considering the time I went to bed. Once I was up and going I had to get out the door had a ton of things to do. First stop was a haircut for my little man. I love Amanda the girl that cuts his hair! Then after that a quick stop next door to pick up a few things. Then we were off to the mall to run an errand. Got stuck there for a few mins because they had this HUGE model train track set up and they had trains running on it and everything and because Sully loves trains of course we had to check things out! He loved it and had to call daddy and tell him about it. After that we were off to grocery shop. Got that done and headed home. Had brats and hot dogs for dinner and watched a movie. After the movie everyone headed to bed all so tired from a long weekend!

Monday

Monday held lots of busy stuff. Cleaning, filling out paperwork, a trip to the park, yummy dinner, some TV watching, and before bed Fallon learned a new trick! She sat up without help or a prop just bam middle of the floor wanted to sit up and she did it!!!! YAY Ry was so excited because he got to see it before me and he never gets that. I don't know if I had more fun watching her or him lol either way it was a busy fun Monday!

Tuesday

Did nothing! Played with the kids watched TV and had manicotti for dinner.

Clean, clean, cleaning day!!!!

Well nothing like a day of cleaning to get ya exhausted! That's what I did yesterday clean, clean, cleaned! Scrubbed the floors, vacuumed, did dishes, did laundry, you name I did it yesterday! While I scrubbed away at my house my kids just played away. Fallon following me from room to room, Sully pulling Fallon where he wanted her to go. OY! That boy! He decided that he thinks it's ok to pull Fallon around by her feet so she gets to where he wants her faster. This is a BIG problem for me so Sully got lots of time outs yesterday, not a very good day for him. Fallon seemed to have a decent day yesterday. Not as much screaming as the rest of the week, guess her teeth have taken a break from torturing her for the moment. Fallon also had one other fun thing happen yesterday besides a break from teething pain. She can sit up as long as we sit her up she can balance and get back to crawling and all but yesterday for the first time ever she sat herself up!!!! Yay for baby accomplishments!!! So basically a break down of the evening was this: I got the house cleaned, got the kids showered, got myself showered, got dinner on the table, made my hubby clean up from dinner, then had an interesting conversation with my friend Bridget, while Ry gave the kiddos a bath, after the bath they were off to bed and so were we. A pretty successful day, got lots done. too bad I had to get up this morning and see more dishes to be done and more laundry to be washed. So goes the life of a mommy. At least I have some cute kiddos to look at!!!!!!

A peanut butter cookie kind of day!!!

Hmm yesterday, what happened...well Sully sat on Fallon. He just plopped right down on her. Thank goodness she thinks everything he does is funny or she may have realized that probably should have hurt her. Then while I folded some laundry Fallon crawled under my feet and bugged me lol while Sully played his daddy's PS3. He is really into playing the game Little Big Planet , its a great game for adults and kids alike. As you all know Fallon is mobile now. Talk about a pain in the rear. I was so not ready for that. She has really gotten adventurous lately and is not just staying in her designated areas but venturing out into the unknown spaces in our apartment for example, her brother's room. I was doing dishes and she was sitting watching me and playing with a measuring cup then out of the blue she disappeared. So I searched in the living room and dining room for her and she wasn't in either of those rooms. So realizing Sully wasn't around bugging me either I headed back to Sully's room where I found both my kids peacefully playing with blocks and having a great time. I didn't get to take any pics because Fallon realized I was in the room and it became a pick me up or play with us situation so I chose to stay and play and leave the camera out of it. We had tons of block playing fun and then Fallon got cranky so she napped, I showered, and Sully watched some Wubzy. After my shower I waited for Ry to let me know he was on his way home so I could start making dinner (cheesy, chicken, and rice very yummy). Ry got home and while dinner was cooking he and Sully played some more PlayStation a different game this time. Once dinner was done we settled in to watch our Wednesday night show were very thrilled with the outcome and then put our munchkins to bed. I stayed up a little longer and made some very tasty peanut butter cookies and after a small snack my hubby and I headed off to get some much needed sleep.
