Well it's Monday and might I just say, "UGH!" I hate that it's this day again. We had such a wonderful weekend, I didn't want it to end! Why did we have such a fun weekend you ask?! I will tell you!
Friday
Well Friday was kind of boring. I cleaned. Finally got my house back to it's spic and span normal! It's taken me a while to accomplish this but it's finally up to my standards again! Friday night was made up by Mexican food and Dexter watching. Fun but not as much fun as Saturday or Sunday!
Saturday
Saturday morning at our house consisted of a very yummy orange danish breakfast, baths, clean clothes, picking up toys, and getting the munchkins ready to go to grandpas so mommy and daddy could go on a lunch date! When it came time to take the munchkins to grandpas I wasn't ready to go yet so Ry took them to his house really quick, I finished my hair, then we were off to see Avatar! I went into this movie not knowing what to expect and coming out a HUGE fan! I loved it! It's one of those movies that has a little bit of everything for everyone. I recommend going and seeing it in theaters in the 3D, it's worth the money to see it! Any who, after the movie we realized we didn't have time for our late lunch so we just ran to wal-mart and did a little grocery shopping before heading to grandpa's house really quickly to pick up our munchkins. Then once home did some more picking up before Sara got here to hang out. Sara got to the house and we ate pizza and chatted while I watched my Colts play their first playoff game and YAY they won!!! After the game we played some rockband on the PlayStation before Sara went home and my little family and I all passed out because we had a loong day!
Sunday
Sunday we woke up with the plan of taking the kids to the Cosmosphere but those plans changed and we decided to do a trial run at a cheaper smaller museum to see how our kids would do in that environment so to speak. They did great! We went to the Combat Air Museum in Topeka and it was a blast! Sully loved the planes! We got to go up into a few and that was the best part. The only trouble was no heat in the hangers soo we did our tour very quickly. We plan to go back when it's warmer outside and spend more time but the kids passed the test! They did great! No screaming, no crying, no tantrums, no nothing, just good little monsters! So we decided that soon we will be planning a trip to the Cosmosphere...I hope it goes as well as the C and A Museum. After the museum we went to the mall and did a little shopping! That was fun and after shopping we went out to eat before heading home. I tell ya taking two kids out to eat is a handful, I feel we and any other parents who are brave enough to take their young children to a sit down restaurant are brave souls! The occasional tantrum or just kid troubles sometimes really gets some rude reviews from other restaurant goers but dang it why shouldn't my kids get the pleasure of having dinner out too? K enough complaining our Sunday night was fun too, we played some more rockband with my sister and her boyfriend before putting the munchkins to bed. Then after they were in bed I realized that Charlie...our new chocolate lab....had a vet appt this morning so he needed a bath before that, so crazy me I gave my puppy a bath at 11:30 p.m. last night. That was fun! I got him bathed, brushed, collar on, and into his kennel and went to bed.

Well I took loads of pics at the museum this weekend but thanks to our lovely four month old chew machine I don't have a usb cable to plug my camera into my computer. So I do not have the ability to upload new pics at the moment but will soon and once I do I promise to add some pics of our trip! Suppose for now I will just add a pic of our insane new puppy!!!! We love him, his name is Charlie, he was Sully's birthday present, he's now four months old , a chocolate lab, and a chew machine! He annoys me but I still love him. Any who enjoy your Monday everyone...I am gonna keep wishing mine will turn into Friday.
